Michal is from Bratislava. Before entering Progressive Slovakia, he was a researcher for the Institute of International Relations in Prague, where he devoted his time to the issue of European security and integration. Michal also worked as an advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Czech Republic. In the past, he worked in Brussels in the European Parliament, and externally in the think-tank CEPS (Center for European Policy Studies). Michal began his career as a journalist in the Slovak journal SME, as well as UK’s Financial Times.
